If your Fitbit Charge HR has one of the following problems, it may be fixed by a restart:
- Not tracking your steps or other stats
- Not responding to button presses, taps, or swipes
- Not syncing
- Charged but doesn’t turn on
NOTE: This tip works for both Fitbit Charge and Charge HR.
How to restart your Fitbit Charge or Charge HR
- Plug your charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
- Insert the other end into the port on the back of your Fitbit Charge or Fitbit Charge HR.
- Your tracker will begin charging…
- Press and hold the button for about 10 seconds until you see the Fitbit icon and a version number.
- Release the button.
- Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.
- The aforementioned problems should now be resolved.
